Welcome to the Sholl Research Group

Our research focuses on materials whose macroscopic dynamic and thermodynamic properties are strongly influenced by their atomic-scale structure. Much of this research involves applying molecular simulation techniques such as molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations to materials of interest. For more information please proceed to the Research Page in this website.

In January 2008, our group will move to the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Engineering (ChBE) at Georgia Tech. On joining GA Tech, David Sholl will be the Michael E. Tennenbaum Family Chair and GRA Eminent Scholar in Energy Sustainability. We will miss our friends and colleagues at Carnegie Mellon, but are excited about the new things that are in store at Georgia Tech.

Postdoctoral positions available

As part of our move to Georgia Tech, multiple postdoctoral positions are available in our group. More information is available here.
